FitiWatch Results: My Experience

The reason that made me buy FitiWatch was the numerous advertisements that advertised it as a fully functional smartwatch that can monitor health indicators, enhance fitness, and allow me to stay in touch with my friends and family via calls and notifications. The thought of a low-priced smartwatch with such capabilities as heart rate measurement, activity, and application notifications is what persuaded me to make an attempt.

The setup process was easy when I got the watch. It has harmonized with my phone via its companion app and has provided such features as tracking my steps, receiving calls, and getting reminders about my activities, as promised. On the surface, it appeared a good and affordable product in comparison with more costly smartwatches.

Nonetheless, the performance was way worse than anticipated after the use of Fitiwatch regularly. Its health tracking capabilities, one of its greatest selling points, were not reliable. The readings appeared to be inconsistent and not accurate to be relied on to do anything more than basic estimations. As a matter of fact, other devices within this category are commonly meant to generate awareness in general, and not accurate health monitoring.

There were problems of overall functionality, which I also spotted. The application connection was not that steady and some of the features were limited compared to what it was promoted. Although it might have coped with simple tasks such as notifications, it failed to provide a smooth and high-end experience.

The other issue is that reliability of other similar budget smartwatches has been reported by many users, such as wrong health data and lifespan. This also indicates the discrepancy between the marketing promises made about the product and its actual performance.

Fitiwatch in practice was more of a rudimentary device than a reliable fitness or health one. It failed to add any value of significance in comparison to what a regular, cheaper, fitness band could already provide.
