The design really did come through as one of the things that did impress me. I was impressed with the modern, compact and appealing look of the Philips NeoPix 150 Projector. The lightness and stylish design gave the impression of a high quality portable gadget.
The quality of the design was initially better, giving the product a more advanced and refined feel. But apart from the good showmanship, the actual result of the performance was far less than what the company was claiming.

Philips NeoPix 150 aims to be a budget friendly, easy-to-use projector for home use. While its native Full HD 1080p resolution does not match the high standards of 4K, it makes for reasonably crisp pictures for movies, streaming, or casual viewing, particularly in a dark room. But it is rated up to 250 lumens, which makes it less effective at showing images in rooms filled with light, and would be best seen at night.
The best use of the NeoPix 150 is for home theater where you can have a casual movie night in a dark room and use an 80″ screen. The HDMI port can also be used for gaming, but even the best gamers might find the performance and brightness of the screen not enough for them to enjoy their games. For a first-time projector shopper, the NeoPix 150 is reasonably priced for its compactness, ease of use and Full HD resolution considering the fact that it is classified as an entry level product.

Philips NeoPix 150 projector is affordable device that provides satisfactory picture quality and user friendly features for casual home entertainment. New users should be aware that it does not flash as brightly as some other lights, and is therefore more useful for night time viewing in dark rooms. The speakers are decent, as are the gaming capabilities, but they are not expected to meet the needs of gamers looking for a high-end experience. Those who are not expecting much will be more likely to consider it a good buy.
