I chose to test Amplihear after having read multiple ads that recommended it as an inexpensive substitute of standard hearing aids. The arguments that it was supposed to enhance clarity of sound, lessen background noise, and aid in daily conversations without being costly like the medical devices were what made me consider trying it. What I found of special interest was a simple, easy-to-use solution that did not involve intricate installation or even professional installation.
Upon delivery, I was provided with the device and installation was easy. It was already pre-assembled with limited controls, and it was comfortable to wear in the ear after experimenting with ear tips. Initially, it appeared to be a handy and promising remedy to enhance hearing.
Nevertheless, the results were not as outstanding as anticipated after applying Amplihear regularly. Although it enhanced sound, it was not as distinct and sharp as claimed. The sound was not even on most occasions, particularly in a noisy setting, where it was too sharp or rather unnatural.
