Enence Language Translator Results

Following a few test conversations with the Enence translator, I soon realized that the experience was not as smooth and fast as it was in the ads.

There were many times when translation seemed to be a gradual process. There was also a discernible lag between the translation being shown, which would make conversations awkward and would break the natural flow of speaking. The translations, in other instances, were not precise particularly when longer sentences are involved or are uttered in a hurry.

The other item that I observed was that the device depends a lot on the smartphone application and the Internet connection of doing translations. That is because the translator is not doing much of the work, so it is primarily serving as a microphone attached to the phone. Due to that the experience I was quite comparable to that of using a standard translation app with headphones as opposed to using a special standalone translation device.

Conclusion

The machine fails to live up to the bold proclamations that it makes in its ads. The user experience gave it a trial hoping to get smooth real-time translations, but the performance was not that impressive.

Finally, the outcomes were not as spectacular as suggested, and the product did not feel so reliable as a language translation solution.
