LifeGauge Breeze portable AC is trending for its big marketing claims and the four stars rating on its website. They claim the device can cover up to 549 sq ft with the large amount of power inside it. Also, they claim it does not consumer too much of electricity because it uses Eco Saving Mode. Another claim they have marketed largely is whisper quiet feature that the device provides when it is in use.
Seeing a portable AC like LifeGauge Breeze that can do all of those sound too good to be true at first. I was attracted to the many promises the device has made, and I thought it would good to try the device for myself and share my review with the portable AC.
In this article, I share the test, first impressions, limitations and verdict.
What is LifeGauge Breeze for?
LifeGauge Breeze is a 2-in1 portable AC that claims to be different from the other traditional air conditions because it can provide cooling and heating with one unit. It comes with other interesting features such as Eco mode, Whisper quiet night mode and portability.
More so, the device assures users to enjoy different experiences like pleasant cooling, power efficiency, cleaner air, ideal humidity, no installation and custom temperature.
First Impressions
The first impressions I had when the device was delivered was the weight of the air conditioner. It was quiet portable that I wondered what could a device of this nature do to a living space. Also, I found the remote and touch control features interesting just similar to the BlizzAir Portable Air Conditioner I had seen in the store before. In addition, truly the device came with its 7 operating modes for a customized experience.
The Test
I decided to put to test the claims made by LifeGauge Breeze portable Air Conditioner. Because it was small and promised to be easy to set up, it seemed like a good choice, especially for personal use. Unfortunately, the experience was not good. The cooling was poor and the product was more a cheap product being sold off as a good air cooler than a good cooling system.
It could not cool a room much longer than it took for the room to cool down significantly. The differences in temperature in the room was small, although there was an effect of the airflow with very close proximity to the device. It worked not nearly as well as a portable air conditioner, as it was marketed. Regrettably, it was really more like a small fan, that did not really cool things, than a cooling device.
What Worked with LifeGauge Breeze
LifeGauge Breeze showed a positive side that users should see too. Yes, the device could provide the 2 in 1 features which is to cool and heat. This feature was somehow helpful when I needed a close heat during the cozy season. Honestly, the operating modes worked well and allowed me to choose my preferred mode for day and night.
Limitations
A major drawback I experienced with LifeGauge Breeze Air Conditioner was its inability to cool large space. It was only when I was very close to it that I could feel the airflow, but it was not very effective at reducing the room temperature. The performance of the product is also very different to what I had expected from a portable air conditioner as it was more like a small fan.
Another thing was the credibility of the ratings and reviews from the customers, many of them sounded like hype and even less sincere when tested personally. Prices were also not consistent with the lower prices available on sites like Amazon. This gave the impression that the product was too expensive for the performance that it provided.
Who is LifeGauge Breeze Best for?
If you are looking to use the LifeGauge Breeze Air Conditioner for fresh airflow within minutes, it is the ideal device for that purpose. Again, if you have a small working or living space, most definitely, you would enjoy the cooling and heating results.
It is best for individuals who are interested in a device that is portable and can be installed as soon as possible by yourself.
Verdict
LifeGauge Breeze Air Conditioner is not as powerful and efficient as it claims. The result was very little and was not as good as the advertising had promised. I would not recommend the product particularly for those who think it can be used in place of a good air conditioner. New customers need to bring low expectations and know that in the real world, results may be much lower than advertised on the internet.
