A peaceful night sleep and instant mosquito or insect killer are what the MosqiShock described itself to be. The device claims to do the job of eliminating flying insects that come close to the zapper and leave you with a wonderful experience. In fact, it all looked to me that the zapper could be trusted when I saw the “30 Days Guarantee” “Trusted by Thousands of Families” and “100% Chemical Free”.
I did not get attracted to MosqiShock Zapper only because of those labels but the features that came with the product made me to expect a good result from the device.
In this article, I share with you my impressions, test, customer reports, value and verdict.
About MosqiShock Zapper
MosqiShock zapper is a mosquitoes killer that can be used in both indoor or outdoor. It claims to be a strong mosquito zapper that attracts and kills flying insects. It uses purple LEDs to draw bugs in and an electric coil to zap them effectively. This ensures you can enjoy bug-free summer evenings with your family.
It features a built-in battery that can be charged via solar power or USB, making it very portable. You can take it anywhere you go. It is ideal for using while grilling in your yard.
The device can be used with the 3 simple step instruction like Zappify and others in the market. First up, users are advised to fully charge the MosqiShock using the USB cable before use. Secondly, at the top part of the device, twist still you can hear the click sound. This process allows you to turn the UV LED light for attracting the mosquitoes. Thirdly, pick your preferred location where you can run the zapper for at least 2 hours.
First Impressions
The product design has a fantastic frame that can make you love the device and expect great result. I was impressed by the portability of the zapper and how easy it was to carry it around for outdoor experience. When I looked at the UV LED light, I found it fascinating how the light gave the surrounding a good look at night while it attracted the flying insects nearer to itself.
Tested: The MosqiShock Zapper
The MosqiShock gave me the impression that it would be very effective at killing insects. But after 4 weeks I saw very little result. As for the UV light, it did not seem to repel all flying insects, but it did attract some, indicating that the attraction was effective to some degree. In killing the insects, the device did not seem to be as good as I had hoped, and it did not perform as it was advertised.
In my case, I did not bother to return the device even when I did not see the result. This decision was made because the online reports revealed that many customers like me did not find the return process that easy as they faced poor customer service. So, for now, I would just keep enjoying the UV light still I am tired of seeing the device. See other customers’ reports.
What Other Customers Have Reported
My experience was not different from some customers who did not see the results despite purchasing the device to see for themselves. Some users have reported the performance did not meet the expect at all.
It lights up but does not kill any insects
It lights up but does not attract and kill mosquitos. We took it on holiday and it was a waste of time. We all got bitten and the device did not kill a single mosquito. Waste of money!

Other reports have shared negative feedback ranging from overcharges on their credit card, poor customer service, difficulty in return policy and misleading information.
This reveals that MosqiShock should not be expected to kill mosquitoes and bugs on the spot or all the time. In fact, customers should be watchful with the identified concerns mentioned by other users.
Is MosqiShock Worth Buying Again?
No! This is based on my four weeks test with the device. The portable mosquito zapper did not meet my expectation despite the design and features that raised my need for the device.
Having seen the ineffectiveness of the device, I have chosen to use other pest control measures for my indoor and outdoor space.
Verdict
MosqiShock mosquitoes zapper has some useful features such as its portable design and UV LED light. However, the experience has revealed that it is less effective in catching insects than claimed, and customers’ ratings are low outside the official website. Therefore, new customers need to have realistic expectations of its claims and see it as a supplemental product for mosquito and bug control, instead of a replacement.
